Manchester United need to do something they have not done all season vs Fulham

If Manchester United are serious about finishing inside the top four this season, they should be getting the better of Fulham without too many difficulties.

United head into this afternoon's tussle with the Londoners at Old Trafford five points shy of the Champions League places after last weekend's 2-1 win over Luton Town at Kenilworth Road. Rasmus Hojlund, who will miss out this afternoon through injury, maintained his impressive form in front of goal, scoring his first-ever Premier League brace to extend the Reds' winning run in the league to four matches.

That moved United to within five points of fourth-placed Aston Villa, who beat Fulham last weekend, and three points behind Tottenham Hotspur in fifth. With Spurs earning a rare weekend off because of the Carabao Cup final at Wembley, United will end the weekend on equal points with them with another win.

After wriggling free of squandering a 3-1 lead against Wolves in the dying seconds to win 4-3, United were then pushed every step of the way by Villa and Luton, winning both fixtures 2-1.
