Manchester United make move for £42m Roma midfielder and other transfer rumours

Manchester United have reportedly made a move to sign Roma midfielder Nicolo Zaniolo.

Zaniolo has made 20 appearances in Serie A this season, scoring two goals and adding two assists during that time.

Speaking to Give Me Sport, journalist Pete O’Rourke believes that the Hammers are biding their time before launching a bid for the 29-year-old.

O'Rourke said: "Lingard will be waiting until the summer to go on a free transfer and I’m sure West Ham will definitely be in the mix for him then."
