Manchester United make Bayern Munich 'contact' and more transfer rumours
Manchester United have been linked with an interest in Bayern Munich’s Mathys Tel with the club making ‘first contact’ with the winger.
Sky Germany claim that United are showing an interest in the 18-year-old and have ‘worked intensively’ in order to try and convince the player to move. United however aren’t the only club showing an interest with two other Premier League clubs sending an enquiry over the teenager.
Tel has made 27 appearances in all competitions for Bayern so far this season, scoring six times and providing three assists. He has however mainly been used off the bench throughout the campaign.

The player himself is said to be keen on staying at Bayern for the long term, but also wants more regular playing time so will look to ‘weigh up’ his options in the summer. A loan for the youngster is said to not be an option with the German giants only considering a permanent move.
Elsewhere, there looks to be uncertainty over the future of United loanee Hannibal Mejbri. The midfielder joined La Liga side Sevilla in the January transfer window, but has only been used as a substitute for two of the four league games for his loan club so far.
According to Estadio Deportivo, the lack of game time has led to Sevilla already ‘ruling out’ activating the purchase clause included in the player’s loan deal. The clause is said to be worth €18 million (£15.4m).
