Manchester United Legends player ratings as Wayne Rooney good and Michael Carrick excels vs Celtic

Headline act Wayne Rooney lived up to his billing in Manchester United Legends' 1-1 draw with Celtic Legends at Old Trafford on Saturday.

The match, in aid of the Manchester United Foundation, saw a number of United heroes take to the field. The likes of Dimitar Berbatov, Michael Carrick and Paul Scholes all played in the game. Phil Bardsley: 7

Mikael Silvestre: 6

Danny Simpson: 7

Should have cut back an early cross but was constantly trying to get things ticking. Covered the left well and can count it as a decent outing.

Eric Djemba-Djemba: 5

Found himself a little lost at times and did not make much of an impact. Was taken off eight minutes after half-time due to injury.

Michael Carrick: 8
