Manchester United include Charlie McNeill in squad for Wrexham pre-season fixture

Charlie McNeill is among the Manchester United youngsters who have begun their journey to the USA to play against Wrexham.

United will play Wrexham at the Snapdragon Stadium in San Diego on Tuesday, July 25 as part of a week-long training camp and the line-up for the game will have youngsters from the first-team travelling squad, supplemented by academy prospects.

McNeill will be joined in the States to play Wrexham by academy names like Sonny Aljofree, Marc Jurado, Isak Hansen-Aareon, Toby Collyer, Maxi Oyedele, Shola Shoretire, Noam Emeran and Joe Hugill.

Ten Hag could still use the match to give any fringe player an opportunity if he believes
