Manchester United give updates on Raphael Varane, Alejandro Garnacho and Amad
Raphael Varane and Alejandro Garnacho are not in the Manchester United squad against Borussia Dortmund as a precautionary measure but there are doubts over the fitness of Amad.
Varane and Garnacho started in the United first-team's pre-season tour friendlies against Arsenal and Real Madrid in the United States but have not been considered for selection against Dortmund.
Amad sustained an ankle injury in the 2-0 defeat of Arsenal in New Jersey nine days ago but has been ruled out against Dortmund with a knee problem.
The winger left the MetLife Stadium on crutches but recovered quickly and was an unused substitute in the 2-0 loss to Real Madrid in Houston on Wednesday night.

United are yet to decide whether to retain Amad, 21, in the senior squad for the forthcoming season after he spent last term on loan at Championship side Sunderland.
Varane's workload was managed during pre-season in Thailand and Australia last year and he did not start in manager Erik ten Hag's first two games in charge.
Ten Hag has made 11 changes for United's final tour match against Dortmund ahead of back-to-back friendlies against Lens and Athletic Bilbao next weekend.
United host Lens at Old Trafford on Saturday and travel to Dublin to play Athletic Bilbao the next day. Two entirely different squads are expected to be selected for both friendlies.
