Manchester United fans make Premier League title point as Jonny Evans named in squad vs Lyon
Manchester United supporters were shocked to see Jonny Evans in the squad to face Lyon after the experienced defender signed a short-term deal with his former club.
Evans had been spotted at Carrington this week and has been training with United, following his release from Leicester City. The 35-year-old is on the lookout for a new permanent club and has been linked with a move to Everton.
In the meantime, the centre-back has been involved in training with the under-21s and first team as he builds up his fitness during pre-season. But his inclusion in the squad travelling to Edinburgh came as a surprise.
