Manchester United could have a new youth-team player in their squad vs Wolves

Manchester United might have a clear number one heading into the new season but behind summer signing Andre Onana things are a little less clear.

Tom Heaton performed well in pre-season but the 37-year-old has picked up a minor injury and will miss the opening weeks of the season. Dean Henderson is still working his way back to full fitness and has eyes on a move away from Old Trafford in search of regular football. A move to Nottingham Forest could still materialise for the England international but no deal is yet done.

Erik ten Hag has allowed Matej Kovar to agree a deal with Bayer Leverkusen while Nathan Bishop has joined Sunderland. Radek Vítek is currently sidelined meaning, unless Henderson has enjoyed a quicker than expected return from injury, there is a question mark over who will line up on the bench for the Reds when Wolves visit on Monday night.
