Manchester United are auditioning for a big summer transfer vs Brighton and Man City

Manchester United are back in Premier League action for the final time on Sunday when they make the long trip south to Brighton.

A disappointing campaign could end with a bang if United can finish these last two matches with victories. A win over the Seagulls could be enough to finish seventh in the Premier League if Newcastle drop points at Brentford.

The Magpies have a far superior goal difference so if they win, then the Reds have no chance of reaching Europe through their Premier League position. However, should they leapfrog Eddie Howe's men, United are guaranteed to be playing in Europe - but whether that is the Europa League or Europa Conference League would depend on whether they win the FA Cup or not next Saturday, and on Chelsea's result at home to Bournemouth.

Ahead of the last Premier League fixture of the season, MEN Sport has taken a closer look at what the media is saying.

According to The Athletic's David Ornstein, United are one of the teams showing a keen interest in Michael Olise. Crystal Palace's winger has been in sparkingly form this campaign with ten goals and five assists in 18 appearances.

His game time has been hampered due to injury but according to Ornstein, this has not dampened the Reds' interest in the forward. He also adds that Olise is not one to rush into a decision and he will be thinking long and hard about where he moves next.
