Jadon Sancho ‘outlines’ return stance as club ‘willing’ to pay £85m for Manchester United ace

Manchester United are heading into the summer transfer window needing to decide on the futures of several player.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe is set for his first window in control at Old Trafford, with INEOS still set to complete their review of the club, and decide on the future of manager Erik ten Hag. Departures are expected following the announcements that Raphael Varane and Anthony Martial will both leave the club when their contracts expire.

Other high-profile names could follow, and the Manchester Evening News understands that all but four players have been made available for transfers elsewhere. Andre Onana, Kobbie Mainoo, Alejandro Garnacho and Rasmus Hojlund are the only members of the squad United will not consider offers for in what could become a big summer of transfer activity at Old Trafford.

Two players who could leave are Brazilian midfielder Casemiro, and Borussia Dortmund loanee Jadon Sancho. Saudi Pro league outfit Al-Nassr have reportedly indicated that they are willing to fork out up to £85m (€100m) for Casemiro.

This comes after reports that star player Cristiano Ronaldo has asked his club to try and capture his former Real Madrid colleague. The Brazilian’s form has waned over the past season and he is consequently being linked with a summer exit.
