Manchester United 2023/24 away kit 'leaked' in fresh pictures

Manchester United's away kit for the upcoming 2023/24 campaign has been 'leaked' online in new, more detailed pictures.

The kits for the new season have surfaced on social media in recent weeks ahead of the official Adidas launch and the away shirt, which has been compared to Newcastle's home shirts, has caused quite a stir in the fanbase.

The new 'leaked' away shirt has an uncommon colour combination for United and although it was initially thought to be black and white, the kit actually combines a very dark green main colour with white and maroon stripes.

It's understood kit manufacturer Adidas officially describe the colours as 'Green Night/Core White/Active Maroon'.

The new photos, shared by Footy Headlines, show the 'leaked' away shirt and it's worth noting the sponsor is affixed to the shirt through a box due to uncertainty around the TeamViewer deal, which could be replaced for the new season.

TeamViewer signed a five-year deal to replace Chevrolet in March 2021, but the club announced their intention to 'buy back the rights to the shirt front sponsorship' in December, which means a new deal could be ushered in.

The TeamViewer name will remain on United's shirts until a new sponsor is found, though, meaning it could yet be seen next term.

It's been claimed the away shirt will be available to purchase from Tuesday, June 27th, 2023, along with the home and third kits.
