Manchester stabbings LIVE updates as street taped off and teenagers in hospital

Police have taped off a Manchester street after two teenagers were stabbed.

Officers are in attendance on Dickenson Road, in Longsight, this morning (November 11).

A cordon is in place between St John's Road and Stockport Road.

Greater Manchester Police says it was called out to the scene shortly after 9.30pm on Monday night.

Two males, both thought to be around the age of 18, were found with stab wounds.

They were both taken to hospital for treatment.

Two male suspects have been arrested in connection with the incident, GMP says.

One was arrested on suspicion of assault and taken straight to custody, while the other was transferred from hospital to custody.

Further details about the incident are yet to be established.

Traffic is heavy on surrounding roads including, including Stockport Road and Stanley Grove, as drivers avoid the cordon.

A cordon remains in place this morning, with multiple GMP vehicles in attendance.

Part of Longsight Market has been cordoned off.
