Cardiff City return to league action this afternoon with a trip to Northampton Town.

The Bluebirds head into this one in fifth place in League One - just two points off top spot - but they will be keen to return to winning ways domestically after two straight league defeats before the international break.

Today's hosts have endured an up and down opening third of the campaign, sitting 15th ahead of this afternoon's clash.

Boss Brian Barry-Murphy could have Chris Willock and Perry Ng back in contention after the duo returned to training at the start of this week.

Ollie Tanner is also back on the grass, but this game will come too soon for the winger as he continues his rehab from a broken leg.
