Manchester's Miami Beach themed Backyard Cinema where kids can watch Barbie for £6 a ticket this summer
It may not always feel like it, but summer is here, which means we're all spending more time outdoors.
There's one place that feels like summer whatever the weather and that's the new Miami Beach themed Backyard Cinema, on the roof of former Manchester train station Depot Mayfield, in Manchester city centre.
Offering the best of both worlds, with some outdoor space and a cosy covered cinema - complete with super-comfy custom made bean bags chairs and more than 40 tonnes of sand lining the cinema floor - it means you can stay dry even on the drizzliest of days.

It's showing loads of family-friendly films between now and August 6, with 13 screenings of the eagerly-anticipated new Barbie movie, which is released next week.
The immersive cinema is throwing Dirty Dancing beach parties on Friday nights and special singalong screenings of hit movies like Grease, The Greatest Showman and Mamma Mia.
As well as quirky features like an Art Deco style Miami hotel, a DJ in his own Tiki booth performing skits with other actors, and plastic flamingos galore, there are lots of photo opportunities, including the chance to step inside a Barbie box and pose as the doll yourself.
There's a bar selling drinks which can be taken into the screenings - water or fruit juice £2, cans of soft drinks £2.50 - and there's food including burgers, fries, chicken and nachos, with prices starting from £4 for a tub of fries, to £10 or £11 for a burger.
As you make your way through to the cinema, there's a separate Flamingo Beach Bar selling more drinks, as well as popcorn, sweets and other snacks.
It's not the first time the place has been transformed for visitors. At Christmas time, the
