Manchester Pride 2023: Weather forecast for four-day bank holiday weekend
Manchester Pride is back for 2023, with four colourful days of celebrations over the bank holiday weekend.
This year, Manchester Pride will start on Friday, August 25 and end on Monday, August 28. From watching the parade through the city centre, enjoying family-friendly stages, living it up with some late night parties and enjoying some local performers take to the stage, you won't be short of things to do and see.
Saturday's parade through town will see the streets fill up, while the Gay Village will be buzzing with activity. The event will be brought to a close with the candlelit vigil on Monday night.

There's set to be traffic and disruption this weekend, amid bus strikes, road closures and diversions - so make sure you take some time to plan your journey.
Following a rather turbulent summer, we're hoping for the weather to be as bright as Canal Street this long weekend. In typical Manchester fashion, it doesn't appear that we'd be so lucky.
Make sure you have your umbrellas packed - it's going to be a wet one. According to the Met Office weather forecast, we can expect some light rain to begin after Friday lunchtime, turning heavy by the late afternoon.
Spells of rain will be broken up by sunny intervals come the evening, with the rain coming to a halt at around 9pm.
Saturday looks set to be a washout. Expect to wake up to heavy showers first thing, which will turn lighter as the morning continues. Annoyingly, the rain is set to turn heavy again just as the Pride Parade begins at midday.
