Manchester gets a new giant vintage store with big brands like Levi's, Gucci, Nike, adidas and more

Vintage clothing has always been a big hit with shoppers, but with the cost of living crisis still hitting hard, preloved products are more popular than ever.

So it's hardly surprising that a new store dedicated to 'preloved fashion and circular items' is going down a storm.

ReMarket has opened in London Road, between Manchester Piccadilly train station and Piccadilly Markets and is packed with rails to rummage through for bargains.

There are some big brands up for grabs including the likes of Levi's, Nike, adidas, Stone Island, Gucci and Dickies, with prices a fraction of what you'd pay for new items.

The place is also a hub for independent sellers, artists, and creative entrepreneurs, offering flexible spaces to host short-term pop-up events.

And the venue currently features eight small businesses, including Bare Necessities, Archive X, 28 Vintage, Cherry Blossom Vintage and Blank Seams.

Bare Necessities is already a well-known retailer, with three locations in Salford and Manchester City Centre, and specialises in vintage clothing from the 80s to the 00s, with a wide array of jackets, sweaters, trousers, jeans, t-shirts and more.

At Stockport-founded 28 Vintage, there are premium outerwear top brands including adidas, Nike, North Face, Helly Hansen, Ralph Lauren and more.

Of course, all that shopping requires you to be fuelled up and ready to rummage, so there's a coffee shop there too, from Cheshire-based Cuppello's, which recently opened a new site in Ancoats. You can stop off there for a brew and some pastries before or after hitting the rails.
