Manchester City vs Man United: Prediction, kick off time, TV, live stream, team news, h2h results - preview

The Premier League offers up one of its showpiece fixtures as the penultimate game of a packed weekend,

Title-chasing Manchester City host rivals Manchester United who themselves face a battle to qualify for next season’s Champions League.

As far as derbies go, it’s one of the most unpredictable in European football. Granted, City have largely had the run of their rivals over the last few years but United have certainly sprung surprises at the Etihad of late, albeit they were hugely outplayed at Old Trafford in November.

With Liverpool in ominous form and the race for the top four heating up, both teams have an awful lot to play for.

Here’s everything you need to know...

The Premier League game will kick-off at 4.30pm GMT on Sunday March 6, 2022.

The Etihad Stadium in Manchester will host the game.

TV channel: The game will be broadcast on Sky Sports Main Event, Sky Sports Premier League and Sky Sports Ultra HD.

Live stream: Sky Sports subscribers will be able to it through the Sky Go app.

Live blog: Follow all of the action through Standard Sport’s dedicated match blog.

Pep Guardiola will be without Ruben Dias for the next four to six weeks due to a hamstring injury.

Otherwise, City are set to have a full squad to pick from with United also receiving good news ahead of the derby.

Edinson Cavani and Scott McTominay are both back in training following absences due to a groin problem and illness, respectively.

While it’s tough to imagine United playing as badly as they did at Old Trafford a few months ago, City are just too strong.

Man City to win 2-1.

Man City wins: 56

Draws: 53

Man United wins: 77
