Man Utd team-mates ‘baffled’ after Rangnick snubs Rashford
A number of Man Utd players were confused at Ralf Rangnick’s decision not to start Marcus Rashford against Leicester City, according to reports.
Rashford missed the beginning of the season after undergoing surgery on a shoulder injury, which he delayed because of Euro 2020.
The England international returned in great form with three goals in his first four matches before the end of October.

However, he hasn’t been able to replicate those displays since with just two goals in his last 23 appearances in all competitions for Man Utd.
Despite no Edinson Cavani or Cristiano Ronaldo, Rangnick decided to play Bruno Fernandes at the top end of the pitch in their 1-1 draw against Leicester instead of selecting Rashford, who came off the bench with 35 minutes to play.

And now the Manchester Evening News claims Rangnick’s team selection and the omission of Rashford ‘is believed to have baffled some teammates’.
