Cristiano Ronaldo tipped for sensational Man United reunion as next job verdict given

Former Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo has been tipped to become the manager of the Reds once he finishes his playing career.

His contract with Saudi Pro League side Al Nassr, which is set to expire in 2025, could potentially be extended. But his playing days are beginning to wind down now and the Portuguese international is exploring other avenues.

He recently launched a YouTube channel, aiming to surpass Mr Beast in subscribers. Ronaldo currently anticipates hanging up his boots in two or three years, following his stint with the Saudi Pro League club.

Former Liverpool, Real Madrid and United striker Michael Owen believes that management could be next on the cards for Ronaldo, based on what he observed during Euro 2024. Ronaldo was a noticeable figure by the dugout when not playing in Germany, hinting at his future ambitions.

"Just looking from the outside, it feels like he might want to be at the side of the pitch managing Portugal like he did at Euro 2016," Owen told TVSporten. "He looks like a coach, he looks like he wants to coach, so he might want to go down that route.

"The Portugal job, probably in the future, we might have his name on it, you never know. Of course, if he does well, then great teams like Manchester United, Real Madrid would then be looking at him."

Owen recognised that, given Ronaldo's stature in the game, he might be more suited to a future role as a club owner rather than a coach. Speaking about the potential paths for the football giants, the former England star speculated on what comes next for them.
