Man United star Amad sends message after Rasmus Hojlund row as Ruben Amorim stance emerges

Amad has responded to Manchester United returning to winning ways under Ruben Amorim as they came from behind to record a 2-1 win over Viktoria Plzen in the Europa League.

Rasmus Hojlund scored both goals to secure the three points and move United up to seventh place in the League stage table. The top eight teams qualify for the knockout round automatically.

At full-full time, Amad and Hojlund were spotted having a heated discussion after the players failed to pass to one other in two separate counter attacks in the closing stages of the game. Amorim described the argument as "perfect" and a "very good sign".

Amad has since taken to social media to send a message surrounding the game, but there was no mention of the full-time worlds. Taking to Instagram, he wrote: "A difficult field to play on, but winning was the best thing. We keep going.”

United teammate Antony was among those to reply to the message, posting fist bump, fire and heart emojis in the comments.

Amad has been a key player for Amorim since his arrival at the club. In the Portuguese coach’s six games in charge, Amad has provided four assists, including two in the 4-0 win against Everton and one in last week’s 3-2 defeat vs Nottingham Forest.

The 22-year-old is said to be one of the players that United consider ‘unsellable’ with the January transfer window coming up. United are reported to be open to selling over half the members of their squad for the right price as they look to start a rebuild under the new head coach.
