Manchester United have been told that they must give the manager more control at the club if they are to attract the best in the business in their search for Ruben Amorim’s successor.

When asked by Gary Lineker on The Rest is Football Podcast if United can still attract world-class managers given their recent struggles, Micah Richards insisted they can, but only if the new boss is allowed to pick his own transfers, will have full control and won't have higher-ups interfering.
