Man United need to do something different to make their most important signing

Following their worst season in 51 years, Manchester United had to act quickly in the transfer market.

Such an abysmal campaign simply could not be followed by weeks of inactivity, and the club wasted no time in announcing the arrival of Matheus Cunha. Interest in Bryan Mbeumo soon surfaced, with United hopeful of wrapping up a deal for last season's fourth-top scorer in the Premier League.

After Liam Delap opted for a move to Chelsea, updates on United's pursuit of a striker have been few and far between. And that is to be expected, with June 30 representing the final day of the financial year in the Premier League.
