Manchester United dream forward line with Bryan Mbeumo, striker signing and four sales

Manchester United will be hoping to make further additions to their squad ahead of their return to Premier League action next month.

United now have just a little over a month to go before they kick off their new season at home to Arsenal on August 17. Between now and then, head coach Ruben Amorim will be hard at work on the training ground at Carrington to prepare United for the campaign ahead.

Part of the preparations behind the scenes will involve United bringing more new signings to the club. Matheus Cunha remains the only new addition to the United squad so far this summer, but there is still plenty of time for the Old Trafford hierarchy to bring in more new faces before the September 1 deadline.

The majority of the transfer speculation swirling around United this summer has been about the potential to strengthen the forward line. Cunha will be a valuable addition to the final third for United, but a host of other players have been tipped to move to United.

Reports in recent days have linked Fiorentina striker Moise Kean and former Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy with moves to Old Trafford. It remains to be seen if United will move for either of the duo, of course, but it seems clear that United want to strengthen their centre forward options this summer.

Kean is thought to have a €52million (£45million) release clause in his contract at Fiorentina.

United currently have Joshua Zirkzee and Rasmus Hojlund as their striker options so far this term. A new centre forward being added to Amorim's squad would almost certainly create uncertainty around the futures of both players.
