Man United eye 'very underrated' PL star, he knows Bruno well

Manchester United target Ruben Neves would be a ‘good addition’ to their midfield options, according to journalist Pete O’Rourke.

The Red Devils have been linked with a move for Neves over the last couple of transfer windows following a string of impressive displays for Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Last summer, well-known reporter Duncan Castle’s revealed (via This is Futbol) that Pedro Neto, Adama Traore and Neves were all made available for the right price by the Midlands outfit.

The report claimed that United had been mulling over a potential bid since the summer as former manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was a big fan, but Wolves were holding out for a minimum fee of £40m.

Neves has just shy of two-and-a-half years left to run on his current contract, and although he’s believed to be happy at Wolves, he has no intention of putting pen to paper on fresh terms.
