£76.5m Man United star 'quite put out' by bold Ralf Rangnick call

Manchester United star Marcus Rashford is growing frustrated at Old Trafford as a result of his lack of game-time under interim manager Ralf Rangnick, according to transfer insider Dean Jones.

Rangnick was drafted in as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s short-term successor in November, with the German signing a deal which will see him move into a consultancy role at the end of the season, but the change in the dugout has not paid off for Rashford.

According to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, Rashford is considering his future after becoming concerned over the lack of action he has been offered under Rangnick’s stewardship.

Rashford’s frustrations surfaced after midfielder Bruno Fernandes was deployed as a false nine, in the absence of Cristiano Ronaldo and Edinson Cavani, during the 4-1 derby defeat to Manchester City on Sunday.

The 24-year-old’s situation has piqued the interest of Paris Saint-Germain, who see Rashford as a viable option to replace Kylian Mbappe should he leave the French giants in the summer.

West Ham United, Arsenal and Newcastle United have been put on red alert and are keeping a close eye on the situation, while reigning La Liga champions Atletico Madrid have also confirmed they are keen.

Rashford entered the final 18 months of his contract at the turn of the year, with his £200,000-per-week deal due to expire in the summer of 2023, but there is an option for it to be extended by another year.
