Man in hospital after fight outside town centre bar
A man was taken to hospital after reports to police of a fight outside a town centre bar.
Police in Bury said thankfully, his injuries are not thought to be 'life-changing or threatening at this time' as they issued an appeal for information.
Greater Manchester Police said officers responded after calls reporting a fight outside the Bling Tiger bar on Bolton Street in Bury town centre in the early hours of Sunday.

The force said police patrols have been stepped up as a result. No arrests have been made and investigations are continuing.
Scenes of crime investigators were at the scene on Sunday morning but a road closure has now been lifted.
In a statement, the force said: "GMP responded to a call about a fight taking place in the early hours of this morning (Sunday 10 September 2023) outside The Blind Tiger bar on Bolton Street, Bury. A man was taken to hospital, however his injuries are not thought to be life changing or threatening at this time.
"An investigation is underway to determine those responsible and the scene has now been lifted."
Chief Inspector Sam Jackson said detectives believe it was an 'isolated incident'.
He said: "I understand an incident of this nature may spark concern for those who regularly enjoy Bury town centre's bars and pubs.
"I want to provide reassurance that we believe this incident to be isolated, and we have stepped up our patrols of the area.
"Our local teams already have dedicated patrol plans in place for the centre to deter and provide quick responses to any incidents that may arise. Anyone with concerns should also speak to officers, who are happy to provide support.
