Man hospitalised after fight breaks out involving groups of men at car wash

A man has been hospitalised after a brawl broke out at a car wash in Cadishead on Wednesday morning (October 4).

Police were called to reports of a fight between two groups of men at around 11.20am after the incident, at the Meera hand car wash on Liverpool Road.

Witnesses reported seeing the car wash taped off by police following the fight, with crime scene investigators also at the scene for a number of hours on Wednesday.

CCTV footage shared with the Manchester Evening News appears to show a group of men on the car wash grounds before another person runs over and a short confrontation occurs. Moments later, two others are seen running away from the scene.

Greater Manchester Police confirmed they were called to reports of a fight involving two groups of men, with one man taken to hospital with a hand injury from the scene. No arrests have been made in connection with the incident.

Meera Hand Car Wash did not wish to comment when approached by the M.E.N.
