Man City vs Liverpool: Guardiola claims everyone wants Liverpool to win Premier League

They did just that with an emphatic 5-0 victory. Three points clear and four goals better off in terms of goal difference.
It was a massive weekend for City and one they desperately needed after the heartbreak against Real Madrid in the Champions League.
After the match, Guardiola was understandably in a buoyant mood. However, in his post-match interview with beIN Sports, he appeared pretty spiky when asked about Liverpool.
He claimed that everyone wanted Jurgen Klopp’s side to win the league – and even alluded to their lack of league titles.
“Everyone in this country supports Liverpool – the media and everyone,” he claimed.
“Liverpool have an incredible history in European competitions. Not in Premier League – they’ve won one in 30 years.”
