Man City vs Burnley Premier League fixture kick-off time changed for TV

Manchester City's Premier League clash at home to Burnley next month has been moved for television coverage.

City will still welcome Vincent Kompany's side to the Etihad on the original date of Wednesday, January 31. But kick-off has been moved to the earlier time of 7.30pm (UK time). The game will be shown live on TNT Sports.

It is the reverse fixture for the 2023/2024 season opener, which city won 3-0 at Turf Moor in August, with two goals from Erling Haaland and a third from Rodri. That was the first of 12 league defeats for the Clarets so far this season, leaving them 19th in the table.

Burnley's last trip to the Etihad saw them thumped 6-0 in last season's FA Cup quarter-finals. Haaland netted a hat-trick on that March afternoon, with Julian Alvarez grabbing two and Cole Palmer one.

City will hope to welcome Burnley to the Etihad just a few days after an FA Cup fourth round clash, which is scheduled for the last weekend in January. But Pep Guardiola's men will have to get past Championship outfit Huddersfield early next month beforehand.

They will then head to Brentford the following weekend in what is set to be another busy period for the Blues before the Champions League knockout stages begin in February. They are already through to the last-16 having won every game in the group stage so far - they face Crvena Zvezda in Serbia on Wednesday.
