Man City vs Bayern Munich LIVE early Champions League team news, lineups and score predictions

Manchester City return to Champions League action on Tuesday evening with the small matter of facing Bayern Munich.

City welcome the Bundesliga giants to the Etihad for the first leg of the quarter-final tie and it's bound to be a thrilling encounter with both sides enjoying good form. The Blues are in particularly high spirits after winning their last two outings 4-1 and scoring 21 goals in their last four matches alone.

Erling Haaland is back from a groin injury and returned with a bang at the weekend as he bagged a brace which included a spectacular overhead kick. Phil Foden remains sidelined, however.

Bayern look in good nick after Thomas Tuchel took the job, winning their last two league games, but did come up short against Freiburg in the DFB-Pokal last week.

There are also some reunions in store tonight with Leroy Sane facing City for the first time since he returned to his homeland and on-loan defender Joao Cancelo is also eligible to play.
