Man City tickets vs West Ham on sale for huge sums as touts cash in on Premier League drama

Ticket touts are looking to score a serious profit ahead of Manchester City's Premier League finale against West Ham.

City's win at Tottenham put them two points clear at the top of the Premier League, knowing victory will seal the title on the final day. If they can't win, a draw may be enough but they would need Arsenal to lose or draw themselves owing to their inferior goal difference compared to the Gunners.

City fans will hope for a calmer final day than the last time the title went down to the wire - when Ilkay Gundogan was needed to secure a dramatic 3-2 comeback having been two goals behind. The 2012 last day has gone down as a key moment in City's history, when Sergio Aguero scored in the 93rd minute to secure the title from the waiting hands of Manchester United.

The Blues have also sealed the title on the final day on two other occasions in recent memory, including against West Ham at the Etihad in 2014, and that anticipation of a party atmosphere has seen resale prices for tickets rocket into the thousands.

Season-ticket holders who cannot attend games are encouraged to sell back their seat to the club for a proportional cost of their season ticket, with the club often reselling that seat at a higher price. But fans - and touts - will often try and get that profit for themselves, and there are currently dozens of seats available on various ticketing resale websites ahead of the final day.

Third tier tickets on resale sites begin at around £165, with lower tier seats available from around the £230
