Man City third kit 'leaked' by Oscar Bobb ahead of launch

Manchester City supporters were teased the new third kit a day before its official release date by Oscar Bobb.

Puma will once again be manufacturing City's kits for the new 2024/25 campaign as Pep Guardiola's side look to replicate the success of last season. The club have so far unveiled the new home strip, debuting the kit in their opening friendly of pre-season against Celtic in the United States.

Supporters will now be able to get their hands on the third kit which sparks memories of the 2012/13 season. Umbro designed City's away shirt in burgundy with a gold trim then, and that is understood to have been the inspiration behind Puma's 2024-25 strip.

Taking to Instagram, Bobb posted a picture posing with City's freshly made kit and wrote: "Onwards and upwards Cityzens."

Bobb was part of City's New York takeover on Thursday where the third kit was given a soft launch at a pop up ‘Block Party’ event on 49th Street and 5th Avenue. The event was hosted as part of City’s current pre-season tour in collaboration between PUMA football, City and PUMA Hoops. There were special guests, brand new products and the merging of football and basketball culture to celebrate the third kit.

The event took place on a custom-built court where Jack Grealish, Guardiola, Erling Haaland and Bobb enjoyed a basketball dunk show and other activities with NBA Dunk Champion Mac McClung and special guests Chris Brickley, God Shammgod and Clyde Frazier.
