Man City's special gesture for Oscar Bobb following Premier League debut

Oscar Bobb has labelled his Premier League debut for Manchester City as a 'day he will never forget' after being presented with the ball from the match.

Bobb has enjoyed a meteoric rise into the City first team this season and has firmly established himself in Pep Guardiola's squad. Though the recent return to fitness for several injured stars has seen his involvement decrease in recent weeks, he has still played a significant chunk of football.

The 20-year-old playmaker has been a starter for the Blues' Under-18s and EDS in recent years but finally got to make his bow for the senior side in early September. Bobb was introduced late on in the 5-1 victory over Fulham with an Erling Haaland hattrick and strikes from Julian Alvarez and Nathan Ake ensuring his debut was a winning start.

Bobb has now been presented with the game ball from the match as a memento for such an incredible day. “Making my Premier League debut for City was great, it was a dream come true. A lifelong dream,” Bobb told City's official site.

“I was extremely proud but, in the moment, I was just focused and excited. “Juanma (Lillo), Inigo (Dominguez) and Carlos (Vicens), all instructed me on what to do and what my role was, and they really helped me be prepared coming on to the pitch.

“The lads were obviously in a good position when I came onto the pitch which gave me that extra bit of confidence to try and show the fans what I am capable of.

“They were great too in helping prepare me and tell what to expect. Everyone knows the Premier League is the best and hardest
