Man City's final transfer of window may be completed after deadline day

Manchester City's final transfer of the summer transfer window may only be completed after Friday's deadline.

Premier League clubs have until 11pm on Friday to sort out their incomings, with no players allowed to be brought in who they haven't submitted a deal sheet for before the deadline. To ensure that other major European leagues are not at an advantage, the closing of the window in England is mirrored in Italy, Spain, Germany, and France.

City aren't expecting to add any more players to a squad that has gained Savinho and Ilkay Gundogan this summer, but if they were to it would have to be completed in hours. However, one potential outgoing could still be completed after Friday's deadline.

Joel Ndala, an 18-year-old winger who went on tour with the first team this summer, has had interest from a number of European clubs in the window with City being open to a sale as long as they can insert some protective clauses into any deal. Feyenoord are one of the sides most hopeful of clinching a deal while Ajax have also shown an interest, and Eredivisie clubs have until midnight on Tuesday 2 September to complete their moves.

That means that even if Ndala remains at City after the English deadline on Friday night he could still move on if a Dutch club is able to reach an agreement with the player and with the Blues. Any permanent sale would likely make it a record year of sales at the Etihad, trumping the £179.5m received last summer.
