Man City player ratings vs Manchester United as Oscar Bobb shines but defensive duo struggle

Manchester City won the Community Shield for the first time in four attempts after beating Manchester United on penalties.

James McAtee hit the post in the first half but the Blues were unable to capitalise on their possession with Erling Haaland short on supply through the game. Savinho came on for his City debut in the second half and Bernardo Silva and Matheus Nunes were also introduced as City build for the defence of their Premier League title. Here are how the players rated.
