Man City player ratings for the season include two perfect 10s after Treble

Ederson: Received some fair criticism in the season and lots of unfair criticism, but saved his best performances for games against Bayern, Real, and Inter. A matchwinner in Istanbul as much as Rodri. 8

Lewis: The man credited by Pep Guardiola with showing John Stones how to play his hybrid role. A phenomenal impact from a boy who only turned 18 in November and has so much potential he looks like he could emulate Stones in the future. 8

Walker: Some terrific performances in the final part of the season that underline his enduring class - not least against Vinicius in the second leg - albeit a year in which injury kept out of the team before the World Cup and other players did when City were finding their form. 7

Dias: Another who had limited impact before February, but as soon as he worked his way back into the team he was undroppable. Outstanding as a defender and as a leader, inspiring everyone around him with his commitment and celebrating the efforts of his teammates. 8

Laporte: His season began late after his Herculean efforts to win City the title last year, and while he never played badly he could never displace any of the defenders above him in the pecking order as Guardiola shifted his priorities for what he wanted at the back. 6
