Man City loanee Kayky sends message after sustaining major knee injury

Manchester City winger Kayky is set for a period on the sidelines after injuring his anterior cruciate ligament on loan at EC Bahia.

Kayky signed for City in 2021 for an initial £9m, making two first-team appearances as well as being included on the 2022 summer pre-season tour. After arriving at City, Kayky impressed for the under-21 side, scoring six goals in 14 appearances, with four assists. He was a regular in first-team training, and twice appeared on the bench in the Champions League in the 2022 last-16 clashes against Sporting.
