Man City 'join the race for Michael Olise' and other transfer rumours

Manchester City have reportedly entered the race to sign Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise but are set to face plenty of competition from their Premier League rivals.

Olise missed the opening few months of this season due to a hamstring injury but since returning in November the 22-year-old has been making up for lost time. The winger has established himself as one of Roy Hodgson's star players having scored five goals in nine appearances for the Selhurst Park club.

Unsurprisingly, this has caught the attention of some of the division's top sides. According to Football Insider, City, along with Liverpool and Arsenal, have sent regular scouts to watch the forward in action.

The report claims Saudi teams are not ready to make a move during the January transfer window. De Bruyne's contract is due to expire in 2025.

The Belgium international could be set to play his first game since the first match of the season when City play Huddersfield in the FA Cup on Sunday.
