Man City dealt Alexis Mac Allister 'blow' and more transfer rumours

Alexis Mac Allister is reportedly set to sign for Liverpool following tentative links with Manchester City and other Premier League clubs.

Brighton boss Roberto De Zerbi confirmed both Mac Allister and Moises Caicedo would likely be leaving the Seagulls this summer, with the likes of City and Manchester United touted as interested parties.

However, a report from Football Insider claim Mac Allister is on the verge of moving to Liverpool for £60m with an announcement due soon. Meanwhile, City have also been linked with Chelsea star Mateo Kovacic.

The futures of Bernardo Silva and Ilkay Gundogan are uncertain with both being linked with possible exits. Pep Guardiola is expected to sign a midfielder this summer if either Bernardo or Gundogan leave.

He is also likely to hunt for a central defender with Aymeric Laporte said to be nearing an exit. Sussex World claim City have an interest in Chelsea defender Levi Colwill, who spent the season on loan at Brighton.

It's claimed the club tabled a £30m offer for the centre-back which has been rebuffed by Chelsea. Colwill could play a part in Mauricio Pochettino’s plans next season.

The defender has two years left on his current contract at Stamford Bridge but may not be part of the exodus of Chelsea players expected this summer. Todd Boehly is supposedly looking to offload players who have 12 months left on their deals to stay within Financial Fair Play rules after a mass spend over the past year.
