Man City ace Jack Grealish spotted just hours before Euro 2024 final after brutal England snub

Manchester City star Jack Grealish would have been hoping to be part of the England squad for the Euro 2024 final, but his omission from the squad meant that he could take in the Wimbledon men’s final.

The former Aston Villa man was named in Gareth Southgate’s initial squad for the tournament but was one of the players to be cut before the team made their way to Germany. He now has a point to prove in the 2024/25 season as he looks to win his place in the City team back.

Grealish’s England teammates take on Spain in the final of the Euros on Sunday night as they look to make history and win the tournament for the first time. If they win, they will also become the first senior England men’s team to win a major tournament since the World Cup in 1966.

As well as the Euros final, another big sporting event in the men’s Wimbledon final between Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic. In an update on his Instagram stories that was later deleted, Grealish shared a picture of his view from the stands in centre court while the match went on.

Pictures have since captured the player watching the match in the stands. With the match between England and Spain kicking off at 8pm, Alcaraz seemed in a hurry to win the tournament for a second year in a row.

The Spaniard won the match in three sets, beating Djokovic 6-2, 6-2, 7-6. He confirmed in his post-match interview that he will be watching the game, with the answer greeted with friendly jeers from the Wimbledon crowd, mainly made up of England fans.
