Man City ace Erling Haaland teams up with NBA star LeBron James in new Beats by Dre campaign

Manchester City's star striker Erling Haaland has been announced as an official brand ambassador for Beats by Dre.

Alongside NBA legend LeBron James, Haaland appears in an advertisement promoting the Beats Studio Pro headphones. The campaign entitled 'The King & The Viking' sees the 23-year-old's father Alf-Inge Haaland provide words of wisdom to his son as he strives for success.

While operating in different sports, James and Haaland are bound by their desire to be the best, according to Beats. Discussing his new ambassadorial role with the company, the Norwegian striker expressed his delight at having joined the team.

"I’m excited to join the Beats family, a brand that has long been a part of my pre-match routine as an athlete," he said. “Family is important to me, and this campaign and partnership really speak to that."

Haaland's family played an important role in his move to City in 2022. The forward's father played for the Blues between 2000 and 2003.

Since moving to the Etihad Stadium, Haaland has started creating his own legacy at City. The striker scooped a host of individual and team accolades during his debut campaign, playing an influential role as the Blues won the treble.

His whopping 36 league goals last term earned him the Premier League Player of the Season award and he was also named UEFA Men's Player of the Year. Haaland is in the running to win the Ballon d'Or at the award ceremony on Monday, October 30.
