Man City 4-1 Liverpool highlights and reaction after Grealish, Gundogan, De Bruyne and Alvarez goals
Manchester City were emphatic victors over Liverpool in the Premier League's lunchtime kick-off as they maintained the pressure on Premier League leaders Arsenal.
City went into the game eight points behind Mikel Arteta's Gunners, albeit with a game in hand, and went behind in the first half when Diogo Jota set up of Mohamed Salah after a perfectly timed run.
Julian Alvarez equalised for City and the Blues scored three more times after the interval, with Kevin De Bruyne, Ilkay Gundogan and Jack Grealish all scoring.
Arsenal are in action at 3pm as they face Leeds.
Ederson
Started nervously with a kick that was charged down by Gakpo but had very little to do after that. Powerless to stop Salah's brilliant finish for the goal. 6
Akanji
One of his tougher afternoons in a City shirt. Left far too big a gap for Jota to exploit for Liverpool's goal and was caught out a couple of times in the first half. 6
Dias
Probably also slightly culpable for the goal, but a lot better as the game wore on and had little issue with any of the forwards Liverpool could turn to. 7
