Maisie Smith has been flooded with support as fans praised her for 'silencing' rumours about a split between her and her boyfriend Max George after months of silence from the pair. People had started to speculate over the couple's relationship after they both went missing from social media.

While their Instagram pages were still active, actress Maisie hadn't shared any updates since October while The Wanted star Max last posted in November after he appeared on stage at Manchester's AO Arena alongside JLS during their show in the city.

But as rumours started to swirl, Maisie, who shot to fame playing Tifanny Butcher in EastEnders, took to Instagram with a video showing how she and Max had been pretty busy turning their Manchester home into their dream abode after she originally shared the first glimpse on TikTok.

The pair, who met on Strictly Come Dancing back in 2020 when Maisie, 22, was partnered up with Kevin Clifton and Max, 35, teamed up with Dianne Buswell before love blossomed the following year, officially moved in together last January after Max surprised his girlfriend with a key to his home in his home city.
