Madden NFL 23 is on the way yet again this year, as the annual franchise again prepares to hit shelves.

The American football gaming franchise has been a massive success for EA Sports ever since the first iteration of the game in 1988.

Madden NFL has always followed an annual release schedule and that will be true in 2022, too, with NFL 23 set to come to stores later this year.

There are a number of questions that are obviously out there for gamers who want to pick up the game.

Here is everything you need to know about Madden NFL 23.

Madden NFL 23 is set to release on Friday, August 19, 2022.

The date will give fans to come up with some real hype for the NFL season and get into the gameplay as real life games get going.

There are three editions of Madden NFL 23.

The first is the standard Madden 23 edition on current generations, for Xbox One and PS4, while there is also a standard edition for next gen, meaning PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.

In addition to those, there is the Madden 23 All Madden Edition.

The legendary late coach John Madden has again returned to the Madden cover.

He fronted the very first edition of the game and there are three distinct covers depending on the edition you buy.

There could also be a special edition cover, though, as there was last year, when Bo Jackson was added as a cover star.

There is already an official reveal trailer, showing off the new Fieldsense gameplay system.

The trailer shows off how Fieldsense gives players a greater degree of control on the field, be it throwing the ball, beating defensive challenges, or reading and reacting to opposition plays.
