‘Macheda moment!’ - Man United fans go wild over Rasmus Hojlund goal in comeback vs Aston Villa

Manchester United supporters are hailing their side for coming back from 2-0 down to beat high-flying Aston Villa 3-2 and are delighted that Rasmus Hojlund has broken his Premier League duck.

The Dane fired home on 82 minutes to complete the turnaround after going more than 1,000 minutes without scoring in the competition. The goal means United ended their four-game winless run while Alejandro Garnacho’s brace ended the team’s 440-minute goal drought.

Garnacho had scored from an offside position minutes before and raised the roof when he powered in the equaliser on 72 minutes. Erik ten Hag will be disappointed that his team conceded from two set-pieces in the first half, but will be delighted with the spirit his side showed.
