M67 LIVE updates as motorway shut after lorry fire

Drivers are being warned of delays after the M67 was closed due to a lorry fire at Denton Island.

The westbound carriageway is shut between junction two for Hyde and junction 24 for for Denton. Police and firefighters are at the scene.

The slip roads are also closed and the A57 is also partially blocked, following the fire which broke out on the Denton Island roundabout. Traffic cameras in the area show traffic building up.
