M60 traffic chaos LIVE as huge queues form near Trafford Centre
There are long delays on the M60 approaching the Trafford Centre this lunchtime. Heavy traffic has been reported on the anticlockwise carriageway approaching junction 10 for the major shopping destination.
Queues have built up ahead of the shopping centre opening its doors for Sunday (November 17) at midday. According to Inrix, there is 'road management' taking place approaching junction 10.
One lane of the motorway has been closed off. It comes on what could be a busy shopping day in the run-up to Christmas.

Data from Google shows delays tailing back to the M61 at Kearsley. Traffic is currently slow moving between junctions 10 and 14 on the anticlockwise carriageway.

National Highways says lane one and the hard shoulder are both closed on the M60 anticlockwise between junctions 11 and 10.
It says this is due to 'road or carriageway or lane management'.
