M4 Prince of Wales Bridge closed after 'serious incident'
The M4 Prince of Wales Bridge was closed westbound for more than an hour on Saturday, December 30 following a police incident. Traffic Wales declared a 'severe' incident affecting traffic and causing long delays in both directions.
Motorists used the M48 Severn Bridge as an alternative route. A rolling roadblock was imposed eastbound on the M4 bridge but later lifted.
Traffic Wales first declared the closure at 8.49pm, and had lifted it by 10.08pm. Emergency services have been contacted for comment.
