M4 drivers endure long delays following crash on Prince of Wales Bridge
A crash sparked major delays on the M4. Two lanes of the Prince of Wales Bridge were closed, leading to heavy congestion.
Lanes one and two eastbound between J23 and J22 were closed due to a collision, with drivers facing delays of at least 90 minutes and 11 miles of congestion. Traffic cameras showed cars stuck in long traffic due to the incident.
Delays were also been cause elsewhere on the bridge as the stormy weather shut the M48 in both directions. The M48 Severn Bridge is shut between J2 A466 Wye Valley Link Road (Chepstow) and J1 A403 (Aust). The crash has now been cleared.
