M4 crash causes heavy traffic near Neath Port Talbot - live updates

A crash is causing heavy traffic on the M4 westbound between J42 Swansea East and J43 Llandarcy. Emergency services can be seen at the scene after being called to the incident at around 6.20pm.

Traffic reporting system Inrix says: "One lane closed and queueing traffic due to accident on M4 Westbound from J42 A483 (Swansea East/ Briton Ferry) to J43 A465 (Llandarcy). Lane one of three is closed." Images from the scene show fire and rescue crews on the motorway.
